For 2017, adidas looks back to its first streetwear range from FW'01 and the adidas Italia's distinguished signature cross motif from 1959. In order to unite components from the past, present and future, the German sportswear brand entrusted renowned Japanese pattern maker Satomi Nakamura. The collection, known as the adidas XBYO uses premium Japanese materials such as terry cotton from Yamayo Textiles, which is acknowledged for its undefiled craftsmanship in yarns & fabrics since 1938.
Below are photos from the official lookbook.
The apparel line, which combines adidas' heritage, Japanese minimalist techniques, and modern streetwear elements is now available at Sole Academy BGC.
