The adidas Superstar Receives the BOOST Technology

The adidas Superstar has established its original personality since it was initially launched as a basketball shoe in 1969. Also known as a low-top interpretation of the Pro Model, the Superstar widely received its "shell toe" nickname for its hard rubber toe piece.

Off the court, the transition of the Superstar into the lifestyle segment was paved by music icons, namely Run D.M.C, Missy Elliott and Pharrell Williams. For 48 years, the "shell toe" has been embraced by generations for its design and its deep culture.

This 2017, the Superstar receives its most progressive enhancement to-date, BOOST technology.

Check out the products below.

To remain true to its authentic form, adidas strategically placed its distinguished cushioning technology inside the original and iconic Superstar silhouette. To add more flavor the sneaker's BOOST is seen through a die-cut window on the medial arch of the midsole.
